Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Support for the GCC National Canadian Conference

The inaugural GCC National Canadian Conference was held on January 28, 2012 at University of Toronto – Downtown Campus.

Overview

Over 200 delegates from The University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto, Queen’s University, McGill University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and University of Waterloo attended. Other highlights included keynote speakers, entertainment by Chairman George, and a networking session.


A Successful Event

The event was successful, with a full house from beginning to end. Delegates gained insights on China and Chinese Business Culture from a number of notable speakers, including Mark Rowswell (Dashan 大山), arguably the most famous Western personality in Chinese media; and Benjamin Boehm, Vice President of International Business, Bombardier Aerospace. Delegates also had the opportunity to network with professionals from companies such as Deloitte and Ernst & Young.
